The aims of Te Ao Ipurangi are to foster, encourage and enrich Te Reo and Tikanga Maori through a digital environment.
The concept and idea began in 2008 with a Year 7 class. Last year the journey continued with the introduction of a Year 8 class. 2009 was a fantastic year for this programme and we are looking forward to an even better 2010!
Haylee Webber (Whaea Haylee) will look after the Year 7 class (Room 2) and Kyla Bassett the Year 8 class (Room 1) . This blog was created to showcase our journey and hopefully share our beautiful culture with the world. Join us...Whakapiri mai ki to matou haerenga!
Great to see the site up and running. I talked to my class about working with you this term. They (and I) are really excited!

Hi Mr Lamshed,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your posting. We would be delighted to work with your class. As a start, perhaps you could discuss with your class what aspects of Te Reo or Tikanga Maori you would be interested in hearing/learning about and maybe our students could 'awhi' (help) your students.
